Superbly situated hotel with moderate prices, good breakfast, furnishings a little aged but clean enough, our room was relatively newly decorated.
This is our second stay at the hotel and it is very reasonably priced and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
the hotel staff were really friendly and i would stay there again
I loved the very friendly and polite receptionist and the waiters were charming too at breakfast. The room was so cosy and I had a sea view and could hear the waves crashing all night. It was very good value too . the linen was spotless and although a little 70's9which I liked ) the room was spotless.too.
would have liked to stay anohter night!
very lovely area and within easy reach for public transport
Excellent location - and cheap. Friendly staff, nice breakfast with not-so- smart staff, great location. Really great location at the famous Leas close to the nice harbour area. Did I mention the really nice location? The hotel itself is ... let's be honest, connected to the low price. But ... you are at The Leas!
One of the elavators has an inner door with a very, very nervous, annoing alarm sound if not closed properly in five seconds. If you have a room close to this elevator, good luck for a good sleep!
We only stayed for one evening in order to catch a ferry the following morning. It was very conveniently placed and the staff and facilities were friendly and accomodating.
It was extremely noisy in the rooms and very difficult to sleep!
Staff were very helpful.
Decor is very dated, particularly in the room. Room facilities could do with some improvement.
convenient for a stop over for a trip on the euro tunnel and a road trip to europe
it was in dire need of the hotel inspector - dirty and scruffy - doss house comes to mind. A great clup of dust hanging from the back of the radiator clearly visible-dust along the top of the headboard - just nasty and I came away feeling the need for a good shower. I would not reccommend this to anyone other than a homeless person.
value for money as an overnight stop, good breakfasr
dated, room clean but well worn, one for the budget trippers
Location im afraid thats all.
Not really any modern furniture in the rooms. No shower in the room and bathroom was not brilliant.Floor in bathroom had sunk.
+ clean rooms + wonderful view + excellent location, near Eurotunnel and right by the Channel + breakfast included + not too pricey
- noise from the bar next door
A very basic hotel - you get what you pay for. Carpets need a good clean. Would be nice to have coffee and tea to go with the kettle they provide.
Views over to the sea.
Although bed linen and towels very clean and white, bed old stained and plastic cover even stained with blood was not very inviting.
